1974
2000 GTV shell being prepared for entry to next year's HSCC Historic
Roadsports Championship - shell has been totally blasted using plastic
media and is fully seam welded with 4 new floor sections (Stoppel
brand), inner and mid sills. Still to be done are outer sills, front
wings, rear arches, front and rear panels as well as new door skins.
Note "in house" design of custom made trolley - this can
be fully dismantled when not in use - ideal for all types of garage
especially the single car lock up as it is easily manoeuvrable with
literally with one hand! Available to order.

Preparation
of customer 1973 2000 GTV shell for conversion to GTAm replica for
track day fun - build spec will include, full fibre glass GTAm replica
arches as well as fibreglass front panel, boot & bonnet. Engine
will be an 8 valve Twin Spark engine sourced from an Alfa 75 breathing
through twin 45 Webers. Rear axle will be a 9/41 or 9/43 fitted
with 2 litre shafts and 2 litre LSD unit with uprated lock out.
Dash will be standard 1750 GTV with 6 point bolt in cage and Recaro
race seat, passenger and rear seats will be removed as will carpets.
Weight should be minimal while the power to weight ratio should
be interesting! More on this conversion to follow. |
